MSPH (Mutual Support Partner Hand) – A Welfare Scheme for our Community Members since May 2020.

MSPH (Mutual Support Partner Hand), A Welfare Scheme for our Community Members, – an initiative of Kent Ayyappa Temple Welfare Project – run by Kent Ayyappa Temple Trust. This project was initially set up to support the community members during the Covid-19.

If community members would like to join the scheme, *The monthly MSPH Membership Subscription is £200.00 (Two Hundred Pounds) by Bank Transfer only to the Kent Ayyappa Temple Trust and the duration is 12 months*.

A person/ Family voluntarily joining the Kent Ayyappa Temple Welfare Group’s members mutual support scheme (Partner Hand) (MSPH) and willing to pay a contribution each month to supports among the group members. The financial assistance supports provided to among group members are refundable within 12 months. The active members in this mutual support group are automatically eligible to join The Kent Ayyappa Temple Welfare Group – Benevolent Fund scheme for a discounted Family membership fee for £100.00 (One Hundred Pounds) a year.

Please note: this scheme is aimed for our community members welfare, therefore as a socially responsible Organisation, the approval of MSPH membership is subject to compliance with the Terms and conditions and not everyone will be eligible.

The aim of the MSPH is to provide financial assistance to a member, his / her spouse and dependents in the event of bereavement in the family. (The term Family Member means a group consisting of two parents and their children living together as a unit, at the same address in the United Kingdom).

The MSPH service shall provide emergency and hardship funds to members who are in difficult circumstances and provide financial help with funeral costs up to £4000.00 (Four Thousand Pounds) from the Year 2025 once the scheme has been fully established with a minimum of 60 members joined in the MSPH Scheme and contribute every month (5 Groups of 12 members in each Group) and operational for members who have been bereaved. In addition, a payment not exceeding a total of £1000. (One Thousand Pounds) may be made to the bereaved family to cover other expenses associated with the bereavement from year May 2025 who have contributed 5 years continuous from May 2020 and still be active member at the time of benefit payment time. The minimum period for qualification of benefits will be one year after commencement of membership.

The financial assistance supports provided to among group members are refundable within 12 months. The active members in this mutual support group are automatically eligible to join The Kent Ayyappa Temple Welfare Group – KRN Benevolent Fund (KAT–WG–KRN-BF) scheme for a discounted Family membership fee for £100.00 (One Hundred Pounds) a year with a discounted enrolment fee of £50.00 (Fifty Pounds).

These MSPH group members will also be eligible and will get priority Pooja bookings when the Kent Ayyappa Temple officially opens for worship.

The members joining the MSPH, voluntarily agreeing to provide part of the Contribution every year from the fund to the Kent Ayyappa Temple Welfare Group management to transfer to Kent Ayyappa Temple functions. The members joining the MSPH voluntarily agreeing to provide part of the Contribution every year from the fund to the Kent Ayyappa Temple Welfare Group management to use to pay for charitable purposes nationally and internationally and to transfer to Kent Ayyappa Temple Trust’s Welfare Services UK.
