Invitation to attend the Special Community Meeting for Temple Premises Acquisition

We are delighted to announce that the Kent Ayyappa Temple Trust is in the process of acquiring premises to establish the Lord Ayyappa Temple for devotees in Kent and across the UK.

As our community continues to grow rapidly, there is an urgent need for a permanent and prominent location to practice our faith and host essential community activities and facilities.

We extend a warm invitation to all esteemed members and supporters of Kent Hindu Samajam, as well as the devoted followers of the Kent Ayyappa Temple, to join us at a Special Community Meeting.

This meeting is pivotal as we discuss the acquisition of premises for Lord Ayyappa Swami and inaugurate a fundraising event for the temple building purchase fund. The new temple will provide a dedicated space for the cultural, educational, and spiritual needs of the Hindu community and Lord Ayyappa devotees in Kent.

We have identified a suitable premises for our Kent Ayyappa Temple. The sale agreement has been received from the owners, and the necessary permissions have been approved by the authorities. The Kent Ayyappa Temple management has been working tirelessly behind the scenes for the past 9 months since October 2023. Although our initial project to purchase land faced technical issues and was put on hold, we now urgently need to secure a temple premises to provide daily Darshan to Lord Ayyappa devotees. We continue to work on the broader vision of the initial project for the devotees of Lord Ayyappa in Kent and across the UK.
