Support Kent Ayyappa Temple – Permanent Place of Worship Fundraising Appeal

Swami Saranam

Kent Ayyappa Temple Trust humbly seeks the support of devotees, well-wishers, and the wider community in our mission to establish a permanent place of worship for Lord Ayyappa and the Hindu community in Kent.

As part of this important initiative, the organisation is working towards the acquisition of the approximately 1,500 square feet former public library premises located on High Street, Milton Regis, Sittingbourne, Kent, before August 2026. The premises are intended to serve as the future permanent home of Kent Ayyappa Temple, providing a dedicated place of worship and spiritual centre for devotees and the wider community.

To help achieve this vision, the Kent Ayyappa Temple Trust is seeking support through both donations and community-supported loans to secure the building purchase within the required timeframe.

We kindly request devotees and community members, where possible, to consider supporting the temple through the following contributions:

Community Fundraising & Support Options

We respectfully invite devotees and supporters to contribute in any way possible:

  • 8 Devotees contributing or providing an interest-free loan of £25,000
  • 10 Devotees contributing or providing an interest-free loan of £20,000
  • 20 Devotees contributing or providing an interest-free loan of £10,000
  • 40 Devotees contributing or providing an interest-free loan of £5,000
  • 100 Devotees contributing or providing an interest-free loan of £2,000
  • 200 Devotees donating £1,000
  • 400 Devotees donating £500
  • 1,000 Devotees donating £200
  • Any amount of donation or support is warmly welcomed and deeply appreciated

Community Loan Support Initiative

Devotees and community members who are able to support the project through a temporary community loan are kindly requested to consider the following:

  1. Suggested community loan contribution: £2,000 and above
  2. Repayment period: up to 7 years
  3. Interest-free support preferred, where possible
  4. Any contribution above £2,000 may also be considered as a community loan instead of a donation, should the supporter prefer.

This initiative is a collective effort to create a lasting spiritual and cultural centre for current and future generations. Every contribution, whether through donation, sponsorship, or loan support, will help bring this important vision closer to reality.

We sincerely request your prayers, encouragement, and financial support to help Kent Ayyappa Temple achieve this important milestone before the August 2026 deadline.

Kent Ayyappa Temple is currently operating as a non-profit small charity and unincorporated voluntary organisation. The Kent Ayyappa Temple Trust intends to register as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) with the Charity Commission prior to acquiring a permanent place of worship.
