Maha Shivratri Celebration at Kent Ayyappa Temple
Kent Ayyappa Temple, UK, warmly invites all devotees and members of the public to participate in the Maha Shivratri Celebration, one of the most sacred Hindu festivals dedicated to Lord Shiva, observed with deep devotion across the world.
Maha Shivratri is traditionally observed through fasting, chanting of sacred hymns, and maintaining a night-long vigil. It is believed that sincere prayers and observance on this auspicious night bestow divine blessings, spiritual upliftment, and prosperity.

Poojas & Ritual Schedule
Maha Shivratri rituals will be conducted as per traditional Panchangam timings, with four Kala Poojas performed throughout the night:
1st Kala Pooja: 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Sunday, 15 February)
2nd Kala Pooja: 11:00 PM – 12:00 AM
3rd Kala Pooja: 2:00 AM – 3:00 AM (Monday, 16 February)
4th Kala Pooja: 4:00 AM – 5:00 AM
Health & Wellbeing Session
A Health and Wellbeing Awareness Session will be held at 6:00 PM on Sunday, 15 February 2026, for devotees attending the Maha Shivratri celebration.

ശിവരാത്രി വ്രതം പുലർച്ചെ ആരംഭിച്ച് പകൽ മുഴുവൻ തുടർന്നും രാത്രി ഉറങ്ങാതെ ജാഗരണം അനുഷ്ഠിച്ചുമാണ് ആചരിക്കുന്നത്. പഞ്ചാംഗ നിർദ്ദേശപ്രകാരം പാരണ സമയത്താണ് ഉപവാസം അവസാനിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്.
