We warmly invite you to join us for the Attukal Pongala Mahotsavam 2025—a truly exceptional festival where women unite to prepare a sacred offering to Goddess Attukalamma, symbolising empowerment, unity, and spirituality.

- 10:15 AM: Lighting of the Pongala Hearths

Participation Details
A nominal donation of £51.00 is required, which covers:
- Firewood, bricks, flowers
- A Pongala Kit*
- The Pongala Sadhya

*The Pongala Kit includes Kerala Raw Red Rice (Chamba Pachari) or Raw White Rice, jaggery, grated coconut, ghee, cardamom, cashews, raisins, and banana.
Please Bring:
- A Pongala pot (preferably 2 liters)
- A mixing spoon, a lid, and a vessel for washing rice
- Water and a knife
- (Optional) A separate lamp and Ganapati orukku for the hearth
- Cash for dakshina (optional)
*Detailed instructions regarding the Pongala Kit and preparation will be provided to registered participants.
